Dry fruits bhel chivda is a very easy and simple indian snack recipe. It is usually made in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. It is similar to mixture made in the South Indian state of Tamilnadu.It is a low calorie snack and hence an ideal snack for the weight-watcher and for diabetics. It can be made easily at home and can be relished as an evening snack especially during the monsoon.

INGREDIENTS:
- Pori / Puffed rice / Murmuri - 3 cups
- Cashews - 10
- Almonds - 10
- Raisins - 12
- Groundnuts - 1/4 cup
- Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1 tsp
- Red chillies - 3 nos
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
- Asafoetida-1tsp
- Sugar - 2-3 teaspoons; for a mild sweetened effect
- Curry leaves - a handful
- Oil - 3 tsp
METHOD:
- Heat oil in a wok / kadai
- Add the cumin seeds, asafoetida, red chillies, and groundnuts
- Saute well till the groundnuts are roasted well
- Add the almonds, cashews and raisins
- Add the turmeric powder and red chilli powder
- Add the curry leaves
- Saute well
- Add the Puffed rice
- Mix well
- Add the sugar
- Mix well
- Remove from the stove
- Allow it to cool
- Store in an air-tight container
