Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that is celebrated for lord Ganesh, the lord of new beginnings!
Usually, the lord is worshipped after decorating him with flowers, garlands, grass (Arugam pul). He loves kozhukattai or modals or rice dumplings. Hence, they are prepared and offered to the lord along with a sumptuous meal.
