Murabba refers to the sweet fruit preserve recipe. Amla ka murabba is a sweet preserve recipe of the Indian gooseberry. The Indian gooseberry is a very rich of vitamin C and hence in boosting the immunity of the body.

Ingredients:
- Amla or Indian gooseberry - 250 grams
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1.5 cups + 1/4 cup
Method:
- Soak the Amla in 1.5 cups of water for about 24 hours
- After 24 hours, grate the Amla with the help of a grater
- Take 1 cup of sugar in a pan
- Add 1/4 cup of water to the sugar
- Heat the pan
- Allow it to boil for 5 minutes
- Add the grated Amla to the boiling sugar syrup
- Keep stirring well
- Stir till it leaves the sides of the pan
- Store it in an airtight container
- You can have it as such or with phulka roti or puri
Tips:
- Make sure that you switch off the stove when it starts leaving the pan, else if you prolong the stirring beyond this point, the murabba will become harder when it cools
