MY DIWALI PLATTER

Hi friends,
With the festival of lights, Deepavali/ Diwali, coming up, I have posted my Diwali platter.
Diwali is festival that is celebrated all over India. It has several mythological significance. It marks the beginning of new financial year for many people involved in businesses. It is very auspicious to start any good thing during Diwali.
Usually, goddess Lakshmi is worshipped during the festival, to bring prosperity to the family.
We, usually celebrate an eco-friendly or green Diwali by not bursting crackers.
We make a lot of sweets and karams and distribute it to our friends and relatives.
My platter usually has

  • Gulab jamun
  • Kolusu murukku / achu murukku
  • Coconut burfi
  • Sweet Somas
  • Sweet maida biscuits

  • Cornflakes mixture
