Home-makers are always busy with the daily routine in their lives. To break the monotony, it’s always good to plan for family vacations too. Hence, I decided to start posting tips on travel too in my blog?

So, how do you start planning your vacation?

First, think of
- holidays for children
- leave for your spouse like long weekends
- discuss with the family members about when to plan for the vacation.

Once you have planned when to go for the vacation,
- think of suitable places to visit during that time of the year
- whether you want a domestic or international travel
- decide about the number of people going for the trip.

After you have decided on these, think about,
- How to travel to that place, whether flight or train or drive down
- Where are you going to stay
- The food and dining options

Finally, decide about
- The places to visit during your vacation
- Activities for children
- Adventures for adults

After you have planned all this, you can start executing your plan.
